Bridgestone Turnkey project search of logistics warehouse in Torrija (Madrid)

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Bridgestone is the world’s leading company in the market of tyres and rubber.

PROBLEM

The Company had relocated its distribution plants, and these were spread throughout the peninsula. It was, therefore, necessary to group them in one wholly owned logistic plant of 50,000 sqm near Madrid, in a turnkey Project.

SOLUTION

Available land was found in Madrid, where the new distribution plant could be built. The chosen location was Torrija, a a new development area within the logistics area of the Corredor de Henares, on the main road Autovía Madrid-Barcelona. The warehouse was designed focussing on the activity and the applicable regulations, and the negotiations with the owners of the property included a hire purchase agreement. The teams who had to control the construction works were coordinated, and compliance with deadlines and quality is granted.

RESULT

The customer starts operating in a warehouse adjusted to their needs, fully compliant with the regulations and in accordance with the deadlines, budget and qualities required.
