IMS Health Expansion and renegotiation of offices rent in Madrid

ABOUT THE COMPANY

IMS HEALTH is a company of American origin, offering information and technology services for businesses of the healthcare industry. IMS HEALTH has more than 15.000 employees all over the world and offices in over 100 countries.

PROBLEM

IMS is in a growth process and apart from that in expansion due to the acquisition of two companies: Cegedim and Iasist. In Madrid they are occupying a building at Condensa de Venedito 1 with a surface of 3.300 m2, and an expansion of 900 m2 in the same building is needed.

SOLUTION

A detailed market analysis of offices in this area was made, the last activities in the building and its conditions were identified in order to acquaint the property. A consensual offer was presented with the client.

RESULT

IMS HEALTH achieved an important saving, reunified the contracts and negotiated a very competitive rent transforming themselves into the main tenant of the building.
